As part of our support, we create safe environments where parents and caregivers of children can interact, share their stories and offer each other emotional support. An important result of this is the establishment of self-help groups to encourage mutual support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is still a great deal of stigma and discrimination against families that live with neurodiverse conditions. It is a sad fact that when a child with one of these neurodiverse conditions is born, most fathers abandon their family because of the stigma. At Peter James Association, we discourage such stigmatisation of neurodivergent children and their families and advocate for inclusivity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
