Our pageant again gained a great deal of attention and featured many wonderful children and their stories of courage and love overcoming adversity. The overall winner of little Mr. and Miss neurodiversity 2024 is baby Alexa Natasha with almost 15,000 votes. Little Mr. Neurodiversity 2024 is Bahati with almost 13,000 votes. Elizabeth tries to earn a little money to help support herself and her CP child by selling sweets and drinks. We encourage and support those who help themselves. We provided Elizabeth with the protective brolly and some stock.
The mother of a down syndrome child was told that her new-born daughter would not be able to walk or talk. On October 8th members of the Peter James Foundation Kenya came together to celebrate World Cerebral Palsy day. We were blessed with the presence of a special guest, Mr. Ben Isaboke “Baba Diaper” who donated many diapers to us and earned our gratitude. Unlike in some other countries, there is no public support for diapers for cerebral palsy children.
