Rotary Connections

Rotary Roots

The Peter James Association was established by two Rotarians that are members of Rotary club Prague International in October 2021. Our association has also been adopted as an official club project and has received financial support from the club. We count a number of Rotarians amongst our active members and supporters. www.rcpi.club.

About Rotary Club Prague International

The club’s objective is to bring like-minded people together to provide humanitarian service in the spirit of friendship and fun. The club unites individuals from many different countries and backgrounds, including expatriates who live in Prague as well as Czech members who enjoy our international experience.

Raising funds to help others through events is a large part of what we do, but we also use our skills, energy and enthusiasm to help others by more direct action. Activities such as our refugee housing programme, or our Speechless Reconciliation project require a broad range of skills and knowledge to carry out successfully. Our club members have a wealth of talent ranging from management, design, finance, accountancy, language skills, coaching, literary, legal skills, social work and many more and we are proud to be able to use these skills in the name of Rotary to help others.

Being part of Rotary is more than just giving back to the community by volunteering. It is also about using your leadership skills, experience and enthusiasm to help Rotary thrive. Along the way we make lifelong friends and try to have fun in whatever we are doing.

RCPI became a chartered Rotary Club in January 1998 and is the only English-speaking International club in Prague. We are part of the Czech and Slovak Rotary district no. 2240 which has more than 70 other member clubs.

Rotary Club Partner

Peter James Association is proud to have the support of Rotary Club Nakuru in Nyandarua county, Kenya.

Our last Little Mr. and Miss neurodiversity pageant was held in Nakuru and Rotarians there were generous in helping us with the location and arrangements as well as welcoming the families that came to attend the prize-giving ceremony with their children.

We hope that there will be many more opportunities to cooperate with Rotary Club Nakuru.
